Two lecturers from the University of Zakho participated in an international conference at Halabja University.

Halabja University recently held its sixth conference entitled “Kurds and Kurdistan in Historical Documents.” Two lecturers from the University of Zakho participated in the event.

 

Lecturers:

• Mr. Wahid Nemat Ramadan
• Mr. Omar Abdulrahman Omar

Both from the Department of Kurdish Language, College of Humanities, they presented a paper titled  “Chapkirina Dîwana Melayê Cizîrî ji laiyê Hartmanîve û Karîgerî li ser Cîhanîbûna Dîvanê.”

The conference took place on October 12–13, 2025, at Halabja University.
